No, Maggie and Negan will not be together in Isle of the Dead, and neither will Jeffrey and Lauren’s characters have any sort of romantic or sexual relationship.

“I think that sometimes tremendous feelings, in any direction, may cross lines,” showrunner Angela Kang told Insider when discussing the potential of bringing Maggie and Negan together. We’re not doing this for the sake of romance with these two.”

After the fifth episode of Season 11, some viewers felt a “sexual tension” between Maggie and Negan, which sparked these discussions.
