The candidates who are connected to a past president, a country music legend, an Oscar winner, and so many other well-known family members are revealed in the Claim to Fame Season 2 spoilers and celebrity relatives for the cast.
A group of competitors from the reality TV competition series Claim to Fame live in a house together and must figure out which celebrities the other contestants are related to while still keeping the identity of their own celebrity relative a secret.
The same minds behind Netflix’s Love Is Blind and The Ultimatum developed the show, which airs on ABC and is hosted by Kevin Jonas and Frankie Jonas.
Each episode features a competition in which the contestants battle for immunity and a bonus tip on a contestant’s famous relative. The two candidates with the lowest scores are secretly chosen by the cast to be the week’s guessers at the end of the episode.
The guesser then picks a non-immune competitor and says which famous person they believe the competitor is related to. The other competitor is eliminated if the guesser is accurate. The guesser is eliminated if their guess is wrong.
Each week, one participant is removed at a time until only one is left. This final contestant is crowned the winner and awarded $100,000. The Hollywood Reporter was informed by Claim to Fame’s creator Chris Coelen of its success in 2022:
“Some people do feel like they’re obscured by somebody who they are connected to that’s more accomplished than they are, and other people find a way to use that to their advantage — and for other people, it’s irrelevant, That is one of the things that’s really fun about the show, is it does reflect back to us what’s going on in our culture.”

Who Is Monay On Claim To Fame Season 2?
For most of the second season of Claim to Fame, participant Monay’s fellow competitors believed that she was Steve Harvey, a television host, actor, and comedian. However, a fresh Wine Room puzzle clue reveals that she is actually linked to a different comedian and actor.
Since she and Shayne teamed up as masterminds early in the game, Monay has been one of the more cunning rivals on Claim to Fame. Five competitors have been revealed so far on Claim to Fame: Cole (Alicia Keys’ half-brother), Jane (Dolly Parton’s niece Jada Star), Travis (Neil deGrasse Tyson’s son), and Carly (Tom Hanks’ niece).
Many of Monay’s rivals on Claim to Fame season 2 believed she might be linked to Steve. The first person to mention that Monay resembled him and that he might be her father was Carly.
She also called attention to the “Family is everything” message on the Clue Wall, which she speculated might refer to the Steve Hosts Family Feud. However, it was revealed in episode 5 that Monay is related to someone entirely different when Gabriel revealed the Monay’s Wine Room hint.
Monay’s Claim To Fame Season 2 Clues
Monay claimed that her father, an athlete who won an Emmy, is a celebrity relative in the Two Truths and a Lie part of Claim to Fame season 2 episode 1. She then admitted that her strategy is to lie.
Monay’s headshot information was made public because Monay’s team failed the Claim to Fame episode 3 challenge in episode 3. They included a fedora, a chain-and-pink lock choker, and a cloud with a lightning bolt protruding from it.

In episode 5, Monay asked Gabriel to remove the solution to the riddle from the Wine Room. Within their alliance, she wished to keep her tip secret. A crescent moon with the letter Zs for sleep, a satellite, an ampersand, a car leaping a curb, a finger pointing in your direction, a man with his arms outstretched, and a comedy mask were among the symbols in the hint.
Although Gabriel knew that this meant “Saturday Night Live and Curb Your Enthusiasm,” he was unaware of the cast members of the two shows. He couldn’t figure out who the comedian Monay is linked to.
Monay Is Comedian and Actor J.B. Smoove’s Daughter
Jerrica Brooks, a comedian, and actor is the mother of Monay. Actually, J.B.’s name is Jerry Angelo Brooks. Among J.B.’s numerous roles in movies and television include his time from 2003 to 2005 as an actor and writer for Saturday Night Live and his 2007 portrayal of Leon Black on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
For his work as Chief Billy Bills in Mapleworth Murders, he received the 2021 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Actor in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series. Thus, the two realities that Monay told were that her father had won an Emmy and that he was an athlete. Additionally, J.B. frequently sports a fedora.
There is currently no indication on Monay’s Instagram page or in her postings that she is linked to J.B., though, is a fan of her account. J.B. also writes about Monay on his Instagram page, where he honors her on National Daughters’ Day and other occasions.
