Nobody will be surprised to learn that a new Ghost of Tsushima film is in the works. It was incredibly popular and fans have been asking for more. Sony is well aware that, in light of Microsoft’s recent acquisition, they need to add fuel to the fire. But now we can gladly confirm progress on this eagerly awaited sequel.

Ghost of Tsushima 2 Is Real, According to a New Job Listing
Sucker Punch, the makers of Ghost of Tsushima, recently filed a job posting for a Technical Combat Designer, and their description of the position virtually confirms the production of a sequel. The job listing looks reasonable at first:
Do you appreciate designing new fighting systems on your own? Getting your hands dirty in the implementation process is something you may enjoy. If that’s the case, we’d love to speak with you! You must have a strong interest in Technical Combat Design if you wish to work here. As a Technical Combat Designer, you will assist enhance gameplay systems and essential player skills, by being hands-on with direct implementation and helping define how they integrate into the game.
Just below “Requirements,” however, we see this:
Must have played Ghost of Tsushima and understand its main gameplay principles.
And now we know exactly what project they’ll be working on Ghost of Tsushima 2. The development of Ghost of Tsushima 2 has already been made public, and if they continue in this manner, we can expect an official announcement shortly. One would hope with a trailer and some indication on where the tale will take us, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. First, they need to release Ghost of Tsushima on PC, great for the new Steam Deck.
