Jamie started his career as a bassist in a nearby metalcore band called “Trigger My Nightmare” before he received his degree.

Jamie’s career as a bassist in the local metalcore group “Trigger My Nightmare” was where he first got his start. Formerly known as “Before Today,” “Pierce, the Veil” was a post-hardcore band from San Diego.

Bassist Jamie Preciado and his friend Tony Perry, a lead guitarist, joined the group when the group changed its name to Pierce the Veil in 2006. On June 21, 2010, Jaime Preciado and the band released the album “Selfish Machines” on Equal Vision Records.

Actually, all humanity was referenced in the album. The record enjoyed tremendous popularity and peaked at the top of the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. Similar to this, the band members published “Collide with Sky,” another enormously successful album, in 2012.

The album became the group’s biggest hit, collecting nine Awards in the Alternate Press’s reader poll for the best albums of 2012.
