Lazarus Anime Cast
The Lazarus anime was produced by Studio MAPPA, which is responsible for the production of the animation. It is being directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, who was also responsible for the direction of such legendary anime as Cowboy Bebop and Space Dandy. In addition, the director of the previous John Wick films, Chad Stahelski, will be in charge of designing the action sequences.

Lazarus Anime Plot
In the year 2052, when the world is experiencing unparalleled levels of peace and prosperity, the events of the novel Lazarus take place. Because of a medication known as Hapuna, sickness and agony are no longer a normal aspect of human existence. Dr. Skinner is the one who came up with the medication, and it is a miracle drug that doesn’t seem to have any negative side effects.
However, shortly after developing Hapuna, Dr. Skinner, a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, vanished without a trace. After three years, humanity is still thriving, but Skinner has returned to deliver the news that anyone who has taken the Hapuna will die after three years.
In order to avert the evil that the doctor intends to bring upon the Earth and its inhabitants, a special task team has been assembled. This team, known as “Lazarus,” has the urgent mission of locating Skinner and developing a vaccine before it is too late for the people living on Earth.
