As of the 8th of February, 2019, Hulu began streaming the comedy series PEN15, created by Maya Erskine, Anna Konkle, and Sam Zvibleman. Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, Becky Sloviter and Marc Provissiero, Brooke Pobjoy, and Gabe Liedman were also involved in the show’s creation.
The second season of fourteen episodes will premiere on September 18, 2020, with the first half airing in May 2019. Season two of the show would be its final one, according to rumors in November 2021.

Season 3 of PEN15 has a Set Release Date.
There is no word yet from the Hulu Network on whether or not it plans to air “PEN15.” On the other hand, according to the previous schedule, PEN15’s third season is scheduled to premiere on February 14, 2025.
Season 2 of ‘Pen15’ premiered on Hulu in two parts on September 18 and December 3 of each year, 2020 and 2021, respectively. It aired on August 27, 2021, in an animated special. In total, there are 15 episodes in the second season, each running between 27 and 38 minutes.
PEN15’s Storyline
From unrequited loves to popularity issues to strained friendships, PEN15 has deftly and successfully tackled a wide range of issues that we all faced as 13-year-olds. As long as the main characters are still in 7th grade, there will be more to come. By the end of the first part of Season 2, both friends were in serious jeopardy. Maya’s co-star in a school play, Gabe (Dylan Gage), broke up with her. Anna, whose parents are divorcing, must choose which parent she will live with after the divorce.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Erskine and Konkle claimed that their characters would be subjected to new situations in the second half of season 2. It’s another set of firsts for them,” Konkle said. Firsts abound throughout the first season. All the firsts have finally been repaid with this seven-episode run. Because they’re asking themselves, “Who am I?” How do I know what this is? This is my adolescence, is it? – ‘Am I still a child?’ I asked myself. After that, it’s like, “OK, I’m a teenager.” Some of my firsts are included here. “I’m ready for anything now,” I said.
Season 3 appears to include “blowbacks” from these forthcoming events, with these new experiences scheduled for the upcoming episodes. It’s also possible that the show’s third season will change the show’s plot to a new grade, as it is expected that the show’s narrative will end in 7th grade soon. As with everything else we’ve seen so far, whatever happens with PEN15 is almost certainly going to be embarrassing, humorous, and touching in equal measure.”

Animated Episode: Pen15 Recap
Pen15 plans to release a new animated episode based on the same concept. What’s new is that the series’ animated special Jacuzzi may have provided its best episode yet.
Jacuzzi outperforms all prior models, which is surprising. During this Christmas episode, Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle fly to Florida with Anna’s recently divorced father to spend time with him. There’s a lot of drinking and a little trouble. In reality, there isn’t much that happens, but depending on how you look at it, everything appears significant.
Pen15’s animation immediately reminds me of MTV’s Liquid Television, which aired in the 1990s, when I first saw it.
Adult women and children play together in an animated Jacuzzi, which serves to hide the show’s central theme. If you’re conversing with 13-year-old boys, you don’t have to worry about Erskine and Konkle seeming and acting younger. Maya and Erskine look exactly like the rest of the cast when they’re animated. A nice place to start if you’ve had a hard time with the age gap between the actor and the part in this episode.
