With yet another season of Raised By Wolves behind us, we’re more worried about the state of our brains than we are about Vrille. With so much to consider in the season two finale, it’s nice to know that the show isn’t really coming to an end with this episode.
Assuming the show is revived, we may expect a plethora of new religious symbolism and wacky sci-fi antics.
Season three scripts are already in the works, according to showrunner Aaron Guzikowski, who spoke to Collider in February 2022:
There is no way of knowing if or when we’ll be able to order it into production. We don’t have any source material for it, so I have to keep composing it even if it does get ordered.
Since the show continues, I imagine that that is my entire world. The only difference is that I’m a method writer instead of an actor. I’m stuck in this reality.”

Raised By Wolves season 3 potential release date
There’s no evident pattern to draw from here because Raised by Wolves was impacted by COVID-related production delays between seasons one and two. Assuming, of course, that the show will be renewed shortly, fans can look forward to the third season in 2023.
New episodes are expected to be released in the second half of the year at the earliest. The CGI artists will need plenty of time to pixellate all of the bizarre elements in this film.

“There’s not much I can say about that moment that won’t ruin the surprise for everyone else. I think you have to accept it as a snapshot in time, rather than long-term memory. Observe the path that it leads you on as you go. It’s like going into a cave and finding just the things you brought with you. I think Travis [Fimmel] will be back for a third season, at the very least. As a result, I feel confident in making that statement.”

For Mother or any of her offspring, things aren’t looking good. As of season two, Grandmother is holding Mother hostage in a virtual prison. Most of our primary cast is in danger as a result of the plan to degenerate the youngsters into something less than human.
We all know that you can’t keep a good Necromancer down, thus we can all expect to see Mother negotiate her way out of Grandmother’s dungeon in season 3.
And if the rumours in the cast section are to be believed, Marcus will presumably return as the Entity’s seized Christ figure. Is it possible that Marcus will make a comeback, or is he still missing, just like Sue?
Assuming the show is renewed by HBO Max, we’ll get some of these answers as well as others in season three.
It was after the season two finale when Decider asked creator Aaron Guzikowski for an update on the show’s future. Guzikowski answered, “It’s not officially greenlit so we will wait and see hopefully. Indeed…just take it one step at a time.”
Aaron went on to say, “I’ll keep working on this stuff indefinitely.” “That’s been my life for a long time, and it’ll continue to be. I plan to keep telling this story until someone stops me.
My daily routine is to continue piecing together the puzzle and trying to decipher what I’m seeing. If all goes well, we’ll get a chance to accomplish it all. but I’ll find a method to get it out there in case we don’t.
