Even as adults, we still like playing the same old board games we did as kids. Trouble game rules are presented here for your old-school gaming enjoyment.
At first appearance, Trouble appears to be a straightforward game. Designed for a group of two to four players, this game offers a unique experience.
It’s the customized Hasbro board with a “Pop-o-Matic” dice roller in the middle that makes Trouble so much fun.
Using a popping center on the game board, the dice are rolled in a completely random manner to ensure that the game is fair.
So, what are the rules of this frantic game? An understanding of the concept isn’t difficult to grasp. If you’ve lost your copy of the Trouble rules, or if you’d want to learn more about the game before you buy it, continue reading.

Trouble Game Rules: Components and Setup
The “POP-O-MATIC” die roller that comes with the Trouble game from Hasbro is the most intriguing aspect of the game. Plastic pegs in four colors are also included, as well as rubber gameboard feet to keep the board in place during play.
Be the first one with all of your coloured pegs to reach the “finish line” and win the game. You can even try to send your opponents back home so that they have to restart their Trouble adventure from scratch during the game. You.
Choosing a color and placing four pegs in that color’s “Home” section is all you need to do to get started in the game. If there are only two players, you can choose whether to play with two sets of pegs to increase the difficulty.

By pressing and letting go, each player will roll the dice once to choose who will begin the game at the beginning. The person with the highest number on the dice will go first, and the play will continue with the next person to their left.
Playing the Game
Play begins with one POP-O-MATIC plastic bubble pop and one move if the dice allow it after everyone has rolled their dice to see who gets to go first.
To shift one of your pegs from the “Home” section of the board to the “Start” environment for the playing track, you must roll a number six on your first turn. If you fail to get a six, you’ll have to wait until your next turn to begin the process all over again.
One of your pegs can be moved into the “Start” position once you roll a six.
When you pop a six, you’ll get an extra free turn, so you can roll again to move your peg further into the game. Players in the Trouble game must move their pegs around the track in a clockwork fashion, counting every space, whether it’s free or already occupied by another peg.
Every time a player rolls a 6 on the POP-O-MATIC dice system, they must choose according to the Trouble rules.
To get as many members of your team as possible to the finish line as quickly as possible, you can either move an existing peg or start a new peg out in the starting position.
There’s a fine line between having more pegs out on the track and risking having another player land on one of your pegs.
When a player’s role lands on an opponent’s peg, that peg must return to the Home segment of the board. To bring the peg out again, the player must once again pop a six.
It’s your job to knock as many pegs out of the Home position as possible while also completing the race with all of your own.
When you roll a six and want to move a peg out of your Home section, it counts as landing on another player’s peg if that peg ends up in your “Start” space. You will have to roll a six to get the peg out of your Start section again, and the other player’s start section peg will also be returned.
Bringing a new peg out will be impossible if one of your pegs is already in the Start space when you pop a six.
Winning the Game
To win, you must be the first member of your team to move all of your pegs to the Finish line according to the Trouble rules. You’ll need to roll your pieces into the empty “Finish” spot in the correct number of spaces.
Your turn is over if you roll a higher number than your opponent. Other players can’t move their pegs into the finish section of the gameboard, so pegs in this section are safe from other players’ pegs.
To win the game, you must have all four pegs in your chosen color in the Finish section. Players can then compete to see who comes in second or third place.
