Adam Warlock, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, first appeared in Fantastic Four #66 and #67 in 1967. The creation of Adam Warlock was the work of a group of Earth-based researchers known as Enclave. The name Adam was given to the character much later, as he was initially called “Him.”

He was reborn after being beaten by Thor and creating a regenerative cocoon around himself as a safety measure. He reappeared in Marvel Premiere #1, where the High Evolutionary stole his cocoon. He began his evolutionary process and named him Adam because he was the first of his kind. The Soul Gem (the Soul Stone in the MCU) was then implanted on his head. That made him insanely powerful, and the title of Warlock came with it.
Given that The High Evolutionary is the main antagonist of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, many speculate that he is the one responsible for Adam Warlock’s creation in the MCU. Adam Warlock’s Strengths And Weaknesses
After getting the Soul Stone, Adam became Marvel’s strongest and most beloved character. His unique biology and physiology give him many abilities. He transformed into an android who could defeat Thor in a long fight. He may not be as powerful as the Marvel Cinematic Universe comics because he lacks an Infinity Stone on his forehead.

Warlock may not be as powerful as his comic book counterpart in the Marvel Cinematic Universe because he lacks an infinity stone. Thanos atomized all of the Infinity Stones so that he couldn’t have had one of those. Many people are now wondering what James Gunn has put on his head.
Theories suggest that some autonomous battery powers him. After all, the sovereign possessed an abundance of Anyulax batteries. So, one of those could have been used on Adam Warlock, allowing James Gunn to give him a comic-book-like appearance.
Perhaps Warlock, like White Vision, can fire an energy beam from it. According to the trailers, he can fly and has superhuman strength to trounce someone like Drax the Destroyer. So it’ll be interesting to see how his MCU power levels stack up against the source material.
