Willie Spence Cause Of Death
NBC News reported that Willie Spence, the runner-up on season 19 of American Idol known for his powerful performances of The Cycle of Life and “Georgia on My Mind,” passed away on Tuesday following an automobile accident in Nashville, Tenn. He was 23.
The preliminary investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Marion County Medical Examiner indicates that at about 4 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Spence’s Jeep Cherokee went off the road and collided with the back of a tractor-trailer that was situated on the side of Interstate 24.
It was determined that Spence, who was buckled in at the time of the crash, was already dead when emergency personnel arrived. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is looking into the circumstances surrounding his death, which were ruled “multi-system trauma related to the motor vehicle accident.
