If you have an ongoing subscription, you will be prompted to cancel it before your account is deleted (see below).
To delete your account:
- Sign in to your account.
- Hover over your initials in the upper-right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Click the Profile tab near the top of the screen.
- Scroll to Delete account at the bottom of the page.
- Click Delete my account.
You will be prompted to confirm that you realize that all documents and information will be lost if you delete your account. After you confirm, your login and all associated documents will be erased from our system.

How To Cancel A Subscription
You can cancel or delete your Dropbox Sign subscription or trial online or by mail.
To terminate an online subscription or trial:
- Sign in to your account.
- Hover over your initials in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Click the Billing tab near the top of the screen.
- Click Cancel plan.
Dropbox Sign will email you to confirm that your subscription has been canceled and you will no longer be paid.
To cancel via mail, follow these steps:
- You can use this template, fill it out, and mail it to us at the address below.
- If you don’t want to use our template, you can send us a letter to request cancellation. Include the following information:
- Your first and last name
- The email address associated with your account. If you don’t know it, include the best email address to reach you.
- The full name on the credit card you use to pay for Sign
- The last 4 digits of the credit card
- The expiration date (mm/yyyy)
- The billing ZIP code
- The amount charged
- The date you were charged
