Alongside the long-awaited addition of the Dendro element, the Genshin Impact 3.0 update also added new Archon missions, hangout events, new Genshin Impact characters, and yet another brand-new territory called Sumeru. Genshin Impact 3.0 Characters

Hoyoverse has unveiled three new playable characters for 3.0. In addition, various teasers for the 3.0 update and the Sumeru region were unveiled, introducing us to some new faces. These characters, all of whom have been publicly named, will be part of the main plot of 3.0.

So, while we know these characters will be in the game, whether or not they will be playable is another mystery, however, there have been leaks for almost all of them indicating when they will be released.

Genshin Impact 3.0 Release Date

On August 24, 2022, Genshin Impact 3.0 was made available to the public. It was disclosed during the webcast that versions 3.0 through 3.2 will instead work on a timetable that is every five weeks, which is a change from the typical six-week patch cycle that has been used for prior upgrades to the Genshin Impact game.

As a result of this, the release of Genshin Impact 3.1 is scheduled for September 28, and it is anticipated that updates 3.2 and 3.3 will also be released by the end of 2022.

Genshin Impact 3.0 Livestream

On August 13, 2022, at 8 am (UTC – 4), the Genshin Impact 3.0 webcast took place. This provided us with our first proper glimpse at the new Sumeru region, the Dendro elements, as well as the 3.0 banners and events.

Genshin Impact 3.0 will be available for five weeks until the end of September, with two unique stages for new Genshin Impact banners.
