It was a sad day when the Black Clover anime ended. To make amends, Black Clover: The Movie has been announced for a 2023 release date frame. More details about the imminent release of Black Clover: The Movie have surfaced, and we couldn’t be happier. During the seventh anniversary of the series, the first teaser trailer was released.
It had been a long time coming, even after the anime series ended earlier this year, because of the rumors surrounding its release. The most likely year for the release of Black Clover: The Movie is 2023, when the official announcement trailer will be released in April 2021. A new chapter has been eagerly awaited by the series’ devotees.
Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump began the serialization of Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover manga in 2015. 30 volumes of the manga have been released thus far even though the anime has finished airing. In March 2021, Pierrot’s anime adaption concluded. My Anime List has given the series an 8.1/10 rating. They already have Black Clover: The Movie in their collection!
Dragon Ball Super and Bleach dominated the first day of Jump Festa 2022, but Black Clover took center stage on the second day. Yuki Tabata’s art was one of the centerpieces of the exhibition. In addition, a second key image from the film was shown.
YUNO, the protagonist of the new Black Clover promo KV, may be seen clenching his hands across his chest in honor of the Magic Knights’ order of Clover. When Yuno appears to be promoted to Deputy Commander of the Golden Dawn in episode 170, the movie’s plot will likely be set there. A special cover for Volume 31 of the manga was also released to commemorate this event. The author Yuki Tabata provided a few unpublished illustrations, each accompanied by a personal note.

Black Clover: The Movie – Asta and Yuno’s Journey
When it comes to Black Clover, magic is at the core of everything. Asta and Yuno meet as orphans in this strange world. In contrast to Yuno’s prowess with magic, Asta is unable to use any at all. A strange phenomenon in a world where everyone seems to be born with the ability to use Mana for magical purposes. Despite this, Asta plans to become the Wizard King.
As they join the ranks of the Kingdom of Clover, they establish a friendly rivalry as they go on adventures and quests to safeguard the nation while also pursuing their dreams.
The plot of Black Clover: The Movie has been kept under wraps, allowing for a lot of speculation. The first option is to create an own plot without reference to manga arcs. Alternatively, the series could be continued once the anime adaptation concludes. A total of 170 episodes were produced during the series’ three seasons.
To imply that this movie is a continuation of Asta and Yuno’s trip from the anime, key graphics for the movie have only shown Asta and Yuno thus far.
Black Clover: The Movie Release Date and Platforms
Black Clover: The Animated Feature Film has made a statement about the film’s progress in production, but no release date has been set. Following a theatrical release in Japan, the film will be released internationally. In October 2017, the anime version of the manga was released in Japan. The first season was supposed to include 51 episodes, however, it was renewed for a second season in October 2018 with episode 52. Season 2 will premiere in October 2019 as a result of this. With 170 episodes aired, the Black Clover anime ended on March 30, 2021.
Crunchyroll offers the original Japanese version with English subtitles, while Funimation offers the dubbed version. Regardless of when the movie is made available on other platforms, Funimation will almost certainly have a copy of it.
Black Clover: The Movie Cast and Staff
Asta and Yuno’s appearance in the future film has been confirmed only through the official Black Clover Twitter feed. Even if they don’t have any known voices from the anime, the cast may still have some familiar faces. The following actors have confirmed their participation in the film:
