BNA Season 2: Everything We Know So Far!

When it was licensed by Netflix, it is the original anime series from Studio Trigger. Following an announcement at Anime Expo in Tokyo, Japan’s Fuji TVs ultra programming block premiered the anime on July 5, 2019. It was written by Kazuki Nakashima and directed by Yoh Yoshinari. In the BNA Season 2 anime, Michiru Kagemori and Shirou Ogami’s story could continue in Anima City. The question is whether or not Trigger will produce a second season of Brand New Animals.

Because it’s a science fiction/fantasy/drama anime with an appealing plot, it’s been a big hit with Japanese audiences. Netflix will release the first season’s 12 episodes on April 8th, 2020. (Ginny and Georgia Season 2). A cliffhanger concluded the first season, leaving viewers to speculate about what will happen in the second.

Will, there be BNA Season 2

When the first season of BNA was scripted, there was no sign of a second season being renewed or canceled by Netflix. It has only taken a short time for this anime to gain a significant following. Netflix, on the other hand, will never release highly anticipated shows with a large fan following in the hopes of decreasing their overall audience. That being said, BNA is a one-episode anime that isn’t based on any manga series. In other words, Netflix has the option to continue airing this show while also giving the writers guidance on how to craft an interesting plot.

BNA Season 2 Release Date

Brand New Animal was serialized in Tonari no Young Jump and the manga was drawn by Asano, the mangaka. Anime fans can look forward to a total of 12 chapters and 12 episodes that were released on May 29, 2020.

Studio Trigger (Kill la Kill, Darling in the FranXX) has yet to announce a release date for the second season of Brand New Animal. As of now, there is no official word from the production company that the anime will return. Although there was a hint that Season 2 would begin in early 2021 at Anime Expo 2019, we can now see that there has been a delay. This must be due to the rapid spread of the Covid-19.

Since Beastmen is coming to an end, Netflix has decided not to schedule back-to-back series so close together. If everything goes according to plan and production on BNA 2 begins this year, viewers can expect BNA season 2 to be released in the middle or early years of 2022 or 2023 at the earliest.

BNA Season 2 Expected Plot

Because it is not based on any existing manga series, it is impossible to predict the plot of the second season just yet. It’s up to the filmmakers to decide where the plot should go. Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger. Their condition as humanoids was left unresolved, and this is where it ended.

Sylvester Pharmaceuticals has figured out how to transform into a super Beastman, but there is no cure for human-to-humanoid transformation. This means that the story of Michiru and Nazuna gives the show’s creators a wide range of possibilities for BNA season 2’s plot.

BNA (Brand New Animal) Action

Taking place in the year 2100, a race of humanoid animals known as the Beastmen has been hiding out in the shadows for centuries. The story begins with Michiru Kagemori, a normal high school student who transforms into tanuki Beastman out of nowhere. Running away from everyone, she begins her journey to the city where all humanoids can live peacefully and it has been set up just for them.

It wasn’t long after that when the Wolf-Beastman Shirou Ogami came into her life. What happened to make Michiru human? And as a result, they find themselves in a whirlpool of mystery and strange events that lead to even more mysteries surrounding Anima City’s origins. From prejudice and racism, these shows deal with horrors and desolation that are major themes.

It’s a time of tension between the two dominant Earthling races when Michiru arrives in Anima City: humans and humanoid (Beastmen). Then there was the fact that each side had a greater purpose in mind when they fought. Corrupt representatives from both sides, particularly those from the defeated side, agreed to go against their kind in service of humanity. As time went on, Michiru discovered that there is some hope for reconciliation. Finding a cure to regain her identity is a top priority.
