The boys were produced before the juvenile justice board, which handed them over to their parents.

10-yr-old’s rape, Murder in Delhi

According to an unnamed investigator familiar with the case, two boys, including his 11-year-old cousin, were apprehended on September 24 and 25, but the third suspect, whose name emerged during the investigation, is still on the run. “Three teams of four to five people are working around the clock to apprehend the suspect.” “Informers have been activated, and human intelligence is being gathered about the suspect and his family,” the officer said, adding that the suspect is a minor based on the information they have so far.

On Sunday, the boy’s family reiterated their desire for justice and the arrest of all suspects. “One of the boys, my son kept saying, knows all the names.” Police had apprehended the boy, but he was released and no further questions were asked of him. He is aware of everything. “They should question him about who was involved,” the boy’s sister claimed.

The boy’s last rites were performed on Saturday evening.

In a video shot by the family on September 21 at their home, the boy described the assault and mentioned the names of two of the suspects, but not his cousin, who has since been apprehended. However, the police stated that the family did not report the incident for four days in order to protect the relative.

Dr. Suresh Kumar, medical director of Lok Nayak Hospital, said the boy died of multi-organ failure. “He developed sepsis and also had a cardiac arrest a few days ago. He was on ventilator support,” Dr. Kumar said.
