Austin Ekeler, a teammate, was also wounded with an ankle ailment and missed a few games. But he’s back in the game now, and the squad is overjoyed. The Chargers performed well while he was on the field earlier this season, but struggled when he wasn’t. So having him back is a plus.
The next game for the Chargers is against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. They’re hoping to do well now that Herbert and Ekeler are back.
