Sir Patrick Stewart’s final season as Captain Picard approaches. The legendary Star Trek actor, who plays Captain Jean-Luc Picard, will be reuniting with many of his The Next Generation co-stars this coming season.
The upcoming third and final season of Star Trek: Picard promises to be an unforgettable experience for any lover of the franchise, with a stellar cast and even bigger adventures.

Picard Season 3 Release Date
On Thursday, 16 February 2023, a new episode of Star Trek: Picard will premiere on Paramount+, marking the beginning of the series’ third and final season. Episodes will be continually released each week.
Star Trek: Picard season 3 premieres on Prime Video in the United Kingdom on Friday, February 17, 2023. Fans in the United Kingdom won’t have to wait long for the episodes, since they will appear the following day.
It should be noted that with the advent of Paramount+ in the UK, there was some doubt as to whether or not the new season would continue to air on Prime Video in the country. Although, it has been verified that new episodes will continue to be available on Prime Video.

Picard Season 3 Cast
Fans of the Star Trek franchise are sure to be pleased by the return of Patrick Stewart as Captain Picard and the addition of five other recognizable faces from The Next Generation.
Gates McFadden is expected to return as Dr. Beverly Crusher, and LeVar Burton and Michael Dorn will reprise their roles as Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge and Worf, respectively.
At the same time, Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner, who have all made cameos in the show thus far, will be playing larger roles in the upcoming third season. However, comments made by showrunner Terry Matalas have hinted that this may be their final appearance.

Picard Season 3 Plot
According to the official synopsis for Season 3 of Star Trek: Picard, “Starfleet legend Admiral Jean-Luc Picard is drawn into the most dangerous assignment of his life, compelling him to seek allies across generations old and new.
“This final journey brings him face to face with the weight of his past and the startling new findings that will change the Federation’s future.
Stewart told Den of Geek about how much more optimistic his character became in the third season: “The unexpected nature of Picard’s employment [on the Enterprise] has always struck me as one of the aspects he enjoyed the most. And I believe that was a source of great enthusiasm for him.
Throughout the seven years of Next Generation, Picard was primarily motivated by the knowledge that he was still approachable to anyone in need of help or protection (something he realized early on in the first season).
Attention has been drawn to this season because of the canon introduction of the Enterprise-F spaceship, a fan favorite ever since its debut in the Star Trek Online computer game.
