Nintendo has revealed that they will be streaming one final massive gameplay blowout in the hours leading up to the midnight release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The announcement comes with just one week left until the launch of the game, which will take place at midnight.
On May 11, beginning at 9:45 p.m. Eastern Time (6:45 p.m. Pacific Time), an official Tears of the Kingdom webcast will be streamed. The webcast will comprise four Nintendo Treehouse: Live segments, each featuring gameplay from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, as stated by Nintendo. After the event, other livestream content will count down the minutes until the game is released.
The Nintendo Treehouse broadcasts typically consist of a few staffers from Nintendo of America sitting down to stream approximately thirty minutes of live gameplay from an upcoming game. At E3, 2016, we were given a comprehensive look at Breath of the Wild, which included hours of gameplay from the game’s opening area, broken up into several pieces showing key game concepts.
This particular Treehouse show is maybe the best example of a previous Treehouse program. There is a good chance that the Tears of the Kingdom chapters will be quite repetitive. If you like to see more about Vinland Saga, Season 3 is Coming to Conquer Your Screens!
In spite of Nintendo’s best efforts, plenty of Tears of the Kingdom leaks are available on the darker corners of the internet. However, an official stream will undoubtedly be a bit more curated to preserve some surprises for when you play the game yourself.
