After Liv Morgan sustained an injury the previous week, she and Raquel Rodriguez could not defend their WWE Tag Team Championships against Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville the following Monday on “Raw.” Unfortunately, Morgan’s injury is now believed to be so severe that the titles have been vacated. The announcement was made on Friday evening’s episode of “SmackDown.”

On “Raw” on May 29, new champions will be determined. CTRL’s Bayley and IYO SKY; Green and Deville; Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler; and Rodriguez and her eventual partner will compete in a Fatal Four-Way to determine the new champions. But why will Bayley team up with SKY instead of Dakota Kai, her partner, last week? Kai was injured in the exact match as Morgan, according to “The Role Model.” SKY did not appear overly enthusiastic about being thrown into the mix.
