The new Camp Cretaceous Dino Pack and Free Update for Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be released this week.

Many details about the next patch have been released by Frontier Developments, and they haven’t shied away from mentioning dinosaurs. Most fans are most excited about the Scorpios Rex’s debut, but they should also keep an eye out for the new Ouranosaurus and Kentrosaurus varieties, as well as the planned cosmetics.

The new DLC for Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be released this week, so here’s what you can expect.

The Release Date of the JURASSIC WORLD EVOLUTION 2 DLC

The DLC for Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be released at 2 pm GMT on March 8, 2022, according to Frontier Developments. To celebrate the release of the Camp Cretaceous Animated Show, the new dino pack includes eight new dinosaur skins and two new dinosaur varieties. The identical DLC bundle will be available to North American players at 6 a.m. PDT on all platforms.

In addition, as previously announced, significant alterations to the game are in the works that will have an impact on all players. This means that even if you don’t intend to purchase the new DLC, you’ll have to download a new version of Jurrasic World Evolution 2.

Frontier claims that the upcoming March 8 patch will significantly alter the sandbox’s functionality. Starting a new Sandbox level will automatically include all dinosaurs, skins, and patterns.
Regardless of whether or not they have already been unlocked, however, this new choice will not apply to the cosmetic awards you receive in Challenge Mode. Sandbox levels begin with all structures and improvements already in place.

“Please be aware that we are not getting rid of era-specific buildings, but merely removing the unlock need to have them available in Sandbox Mode,” says a note from Frontier. When Update 2 is released, you’ll have everything you need to start developing a park or facility right now.

Jurassic World Evolution 2’s dev team is also making it feasible to play with Research and Expeditions mechanics, including the ability to start from scratch in any and all Sandbox maps.
