The most recent prequel series to be added to the Yellowstone world is 1923. In the early 1900s, the exciting spin-off shows how the Dutton family runs the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. The first season of 1923 began on December 18, 2022. The first season has eight episodes, and every week a new one comes out. The second season of 1923, which will have eight episodes, has already been picked up.
Taylor Sheridan didn’t take any shortcuts when making the show in about 1923. Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, Jennifer Ehle, James Badge Dale, and Jerome Flynn are just some of the big names in the show’s cast. Just like the Dutton generation before them in 1883, the Dutton generation of 1923 has already been through tragedy and hardship, most notably with Banner Creighton killing John Dutton I.
Since other people were hurt and the person who did it is still alive, the Duttons want to get back at him to protect their family and the ranch.

When Will 1923 Return?
On February 5, 2023, episode 5 of 1923 will air. Before, the first four episodes came out every Sunday, starting on December 18, 2022, for a total of eight weeks. Paramount+ hasn’t said why the show is taking a break. They did, however, put out a mid-season trailer that gives a sneak peek at what’s to come in the show.
The official Instagram page for 1923 posted the trailer and wrote, “The story is not over. #1923TV comes back on #ParamountPlus on February 5 with all new episodes.”
The fifth episode of 1923 will come out on February 5, 2023. Before, the first four episodes were released every Sunday starting December 18, 2022.

When Will Season Two of 1923 Premiere?
Even though it’s been confirmed that there will be a second season of 1923, there isn’t yet a set date for when it will come out. In the spring of 2023, they will start making the second season. If Taylor Sheridan’s other shows are any indication, the second season of 1923 will probably start airing a year after the first season, in December 2024. The second season will have eight episodes, just like the first season.
