Sumanth Reddy aka Vaibhav, a Kollywood actor, was recently seen in the Tamil film Buffoon. The film’s first look poster, which featured Vaibhav, was unveiled at the end of March last year; however, the film appears to be distinct from the poster. Previously, it was stated that Vaibhav’s film would be a comedy-drama, but the teaser and trailer suggested that it would be an action thriller.
The film is directed by Ashok Veerappan, a debutante filmmaker, and is produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Sudhan Sundaram, and Jayaram under the banner Stone Benchers.

Buffoon Release Date & OTT
The official trailer for Buffoon confirmed its release date as “September 23rd, 2022.” Netflix’s OTT platform is now available as of October 14th.
The Santhosh Narayanan musical, starring Vaibhav-Anagha, is co-produced by Kal Raman, S.Somasegar, and Kalyan Subramaniam. Raja Gurusamy, Muthamizh Uma Devia, and Durai are the lyricists. The cinematography is by Dinesh Puroshothaman, and the editing is by Vetre Krishnan.

Buffoon Star Cast
Along with directing, Ashok co-wrote the screenplay for the film, which stars Vaibhav and upcoming South actress Anagha Maruthora as the main lead actors and actresses. Mollywood actor Joju George, Anthakudi Ilayaraja, Naren Moonar Ramesh, Tamizh, Adukalam Jeyabalan, and Madurai M.P. Vishwanathan are among the other cast members.

The story follows the state police as they prepare to apprehend the most notorious smuggling don Dhanapal alive within six months. The trailer contains some action sequences, such as police planning to apprehend Dhanapal, amazing cinematography, such as an aerial shot at 0:04 sec, and the BGM used in the film by Santhosh Narayanan, which has received a lot of praise from viewers.
