Before Sony’s State of Play event, rumors of Bloodborne Remastered for the PS5 have surfaced. However, gamers are once again wondering if such a project should be included in the display.
A Bloodborne Remaster for next-generation systems is high on the wishlist of Souls fans right now. Many gamers would be willing to spend money on such a project, especially given how well Elden Ring is doing across all platforms.
Fans are expecting some surprises later today, but those debating the latest Bloodborne rumor aren’t buying it.
BLOODBORNE REMASTERED RUMOURS ARE BACK
Rumors of a new Bloodborne Remastered version have surfaced, tying it to this week’s State of Play event. The PlayStation 5 and PS4 systems will be updated and revealed during the live stream event. A few items have been ruled out by Sony, but they haven’t revealed what will be covered in the 20 minutes.
In other words, we won’t be seeing any gameplay of the PlayStation VR2 when it launches. As a result, a slew of major projects, such as God of War Ragnarok, are free to take center stage. In addition to this, Sony has stated that there would be a specific focus on Japanese-published games.
Some people on social networking networks like Reddit, however, are skeptical about the authenticity of screenshots purporting to be from Bloodborne Remastered. The following are some of the reactions we’ve received after seeing the new photos for the upcoming From Software announcement:
“The classic Bloodborne rumor baby.”
“People are begging for it, they could do nothing other than fix frame, pacing and 60fps and people would buy it.
“I love Bloodborne – and as someone who loves the game, I can tell you, it does need some work. I can only play at a cinematic 24FPS for so long.”
“There’s an issue I believe with a patch, cause attacks are attached to framerate I believe that’s the issue why it never came out. I’m all for a Bloodborne remaster/update of any kind. I will gladly pay $60.00 for this too, Bloodborne in 4k 60FPS, with some added weapons, and a bit more content would be something awesome to look forward to.”
