Derry Girls’ third and last season has come to an end, and it certainly did so with a bang. The beloved comedy’s final run of episodes reunited viewers with the central quintet – Erin, Orla, Clare, Michelle, and James – for the last time as they anxiously awaited their GCSE results and took their first steps toward adulthood.
Season three has ended after many run-ins with the authorities for the Derry Girls cast, a long-awaited kiss, and the entrance of an indecently attractive plumber. Except for a special extra episode airing on May 18th, one year after the shocking finale of season 3.

Derry Girls Season 3 Cast And Characters
The narrative cannot continue without our titular group because they are an essential component of it. Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Louisa Harland, Nicola Coughlan, and Jamie-Lee O’Donnell are the actors portraying the principal four.
In addition to them, we have Leah O’Rourke, Tommy Tiernan, Ian McElhinney, Tara Lynne, Kathy Kiera O’Neill, Siobhan McSweeney Clarke, and Dylan Llewellyn. The IMBD of Derry Girls is 8.5 out of 10.
Nicola Coughlan Plays Clare Devlin
A worried “nervous wreck” kid who had previously revealed his se*ual orientation to the gang. Clare is still a nervous wreck and knows nothing to do with herself. She continues to move forward while experiencing extreme stress. Additionally, she was quite concerned about her tests, her studies, and other similar things. However, she unquestionably embarks on an adventure.
She is well recognized for her roles as Hannah Dalton in Harlots and Penelope Featherington in Bridgerton’s first and second seasons, in addition to Derry Girls. Whistle Through the Shamrocks, a comedy podcast, was also co-created by her.
Saoirse-Monica Jackson Plays Erin Quinn
Erin, an ambitious writer with plenty of bravado to cover up her youthful insecurities, provides the series’ foundation, and viewers are confident that Erin and James will start d@ting in season 3.
Saoirse-Monica Jackson promised a new maturity from her character Erin. She’s really found a bit more confidence in herself and who she is and trusts in her moral compass a bit more. Naturally, there will always be some level of crazy, but we believe that she has a lot more competence and understanding now.

Jamie-Lee O’Donnell Plays Michelle Mallon
A brazen, permed kid with a good heart who is also stuck with James, the “wee English fella,” who she claims is her cousin and is the world’s most aggravating person.
She portrayed the title character Rose Gill in the popular prison comedy-drama Screw. She has also performed with Richard Armitage in Urban and the Shed Crew and episodes like Doing Money and 6Degrees on BBC iPlayer.
Dylan Llewellyn Plays James Maguire
During his stay with his cousin Michelle, the awkward English schoolboy is made to attend the all-girls Our Lady Immaculate College.
A Grand Romantic Gesture, Call the Midwife, Dodo, and Holby City have all featured the actor. From 2011 to 2012, he portrayed Martin ‘Jono’ Johnson.
Louisa Harland Plays Orla McCool
She is Erin’s cousin and the group’s quirky weirdo. Louisa Harland remarked on season 3. She seems to speak a little louder, in my opinion. You see more of Orla this time, but she’s still very much “marching to the beat of her own drum.”
She recently portrayed Cloda O’Donnell in The Deceived, and she also starred in the comedic podcast Whistle Through the Shamrocks with co-star Coughlan. She has also appeared in the Woody Harrelson film Lost in London and the crime thriller Love/Hate. She has also been on Doctors, a BBC daytime favorite.

Siobhan McSweeney Plays Sister Michael
Our Lady Immaculate College’s harsh and sarcastic headmistress expresses her opinions without regard for the reaction of others. Father Peter, who is sincere, is the sole thorn in her side.
Her role as Brd Riordan in the most current version of Graham Norton’s book Holding may be recognizable to viewers. She also played Dr. Cooke in The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, Ruth Cheetham in Porterrs, Collateral, The Fall, and No Offense, and she made an appearance as Witzender in Alice Through the Looking Glass.

Tara Lynne O’Neill Plays Mary Quinn
