Creating an original anime series is always one of the most difficult processes because there is no source material to draw from, not to mention that it must always intrigue viewers. None of this is relevant to the most recent anime series, Engage Kiss, which has won over a large number of anime fans.
The anime was full of unexpected plot twists, insane character developments, and spectacular fights that will captivate viewers for a long time.

Engage Kiss season 2 has not been officially confirmed yet. Although we have not received confirmation from official sources, according to rumors, season 2 of Engage Kiss will likely release in 2023.
Engage Kiss Game As A Sequel

Rumours & Leaks
Website for live streaming Bilibili, China’s largest streaming website, incorrectly listed the Engage Kiss anime as having 26 episodes rather than 13. Sneaky (anime leaker) shared this information on their Twitter account.
Sneaky, a Twitter anime leaker, claims to have reliable information from a reliable source that season 2 will be announced on January 7, 2023.
Next Official Update
On January 7, 2023, Engage Kiss will host a special event in Tokyo. The majority of the cast will be present, including Soma Saito (Shu Ogata), Saya Aizawa (Kisara), Lynn (Ayano Yugiri), Rumi Okubo (Sharon Holy Grail), and Akari Kito (Kanna Ogata). During this event, we will most likely hear something about season 2.
As you may know, the series’ renewal is contingent on Blu-ray sales, the series’ popularity, and the availability of the staff (studio). We don’t have enough information about Blu-ray sales, but the series’ popularity can be determined by examining popular anime ranking websites.
The Engage Kiss anime is rated 7.07/10 on MyAnimeList, 3.4/5 on Anime-Planet, and 6.5/10 on IMDB, which is not good enough for season 2 to be greenlit right away, but also not bad enough for the show to be cancelled.
The third and final factor is the studio’s availability, and this is where Engage Kiss fans will be disappointed. A-1 Pictures, the animation studio in charge, will be extremely busy next year. Nier: Automata Ver1.1a, Mashle: Magic and Muscles, Solo Leveling, Eisen Flugel, and Kaguya-sama: Love is War -The First Kiss Never Ends are just a few of the anime series currently in development by the studio.
A-1 Pictures also animated Lycoris Recoil, another original anime similar to Engage Kiss. Lycoris Recoil has higher ratings than Engage Kiss, so if A-1 Pictures had to choose between the two, they would prioritise animating Lycoris Recoil season 2 because it is more profitable.
