The gaming insider posts a number of leaks and scoops on his Twitter account and has now seemingly revealed when Season 5 of the wildly popular battle royale game is coming.
We are currently within Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, with Season 4 likely to start later this month, likely on September 18th.
Season 3’s current end date is September 17th, so it stands to reason that the new season will arrive 24 hours later.
But now that Season 5 has a release date, we have a very clear roadmap of future updates.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 5 Release Date
Tom Henderson has claimed on Twitter that the season will begin on December 5th, 2022.
We don’t have any further information when it comes to the theme of the Season or the Battle Pass at this point.
That is, of course, due to the fact that Season 4 is yet to begin, and as of writing, we’re still in Season 3.
The current Season has focused on the word “Vibin’”, with the island transformed into a giant party. It has allowed players to bounce around Reality Falls, ride creatures, and brave the Screwball rollercoaster.
It may well be that Epic look to make Season 5 a Christmas-themed update, given the date, and the proximity to the big day. While we don’t know for sure, it is likely to be hugely exciting for Fortnite fans who are keen to know where Epic Games are going next.
The release date has yet to be officially announced, while we are also yet to get anything like a trailer, or even a tease within the game of what is to come, but we will keep a very close eye on the respective social media feeds so we can bring you a formal confirmation.
Henderson has an outstanding track record, though, so we feel very confident that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 5 will release on December 5th, 2022.
