The Disney Channel aired an animated “Good Luck Charlie” sitcom between 2010 and 2014. It followed the Duncan family and their lives together as the eldest daughter, Teddy, made vlogs for her younger sister, Charlie, to help Charlie navigate through life in the future.
Because they lived in a household with six people and all of the other children were of an age where they should be attending school, there were a lot of opportunities for them to get into mischief, whether on purpose or by accident. Even Disney decided to capitalize on the series’ success by producing a spin-off movie called Good Luck Charlie: It’s Christmas!
Even though the show has been canceled and the characters are no longer seen on screen, the actors have continued getting older and moved on to other things in their lives.
However, because the majority of Disney shows are geared toward children and young adults, it means that the actors and actresses working on those shows have a lot of leeways to make changes to their careers, whether that means making sudden appearances in a different type of work or giving up acting entirely.

She has worked with a few brands as a well-known Instagram influencer with over a million followers. It appears that as she advances in her life and career, she will likely keep acting.
Bridgit Mendler As Teddy Duncan
Teddy Duncan, the creator of the excellent luck Charlie vlogs for which the show was named, was portrayed by the other main character, Bridgit Mendler. Although she had appeared in a few films before Good Luck Charlie, her time on the Disney Channel was what cemented her reputation.
Since then, she has occasionally acted in TV shows but has primarily devoted her career to music. She had a deal with Hollywood Records when she was still on the show and started working on an album. She currently appears to be pursuing both acting and music shortly.
Bradley Steven Perry As Gabe Duncan
Bradley Gabe Duncan, the younger and undoubtedly more disobedient and troublesome brother, was portrayed by Steven Perry. Even though his career didn’t benefit from the show nearly as much as Mendler’s, it was one of his first longer-term roles. After that, he continued working with Disney, appearing in several shows and even a film.
He continues to act today, moving away from Disney and family-friendly projects and into other TV series and films. He most recently appeared in the horror comedy Hubie Halloween and is still pursuing a career in acting. The show (Good Luck Charlie) became a hit and got an IMBD rating of 7.1.
Jason Dolley As PJ Duncan
As the last of the children, Jason Dolley portrayed PJ Duncan, the oldest. He was frequently viewed as the awkward comic relief character and often butted heads with Teddy, as siblings often do. Even though Dolley is still an actor today, his time at Disney is still what makes him famous.
He had already started acting in more adult-oriented movies before the Good Luck Charlie series started, but it was one of his final Disney projects. After this performance, he quickly switched to works geared toward an older audience. He now appears to take whatever he can get, including music videos and short films. He is currently filming a piece he wrote called The Unicorn That Never Lies.
Leigh-Allyn Baker As Amy Duncan
The Duncan family’s mother was Amy Duncan, who Leigh-Allyn Baker portrayed. She was a hospital nurse who acted more comically on the show and tended to be protective. It should be no surprise that Baker continued working after landing this role since she was already well into her acting career.

Baker was employed by Disney for a little longer and even had the opportunity to produce and star in the film Bad Hair Day. Since then, she has appeared in a few episodes here and there of numerous TV shows. Most recently, she starred in the religious comedy Family Camp. However, Baker doesn’t limit herself to just live-action television programs and motion pictures; she also contributes her voice to a few animated TV shows and a wide range of video games.

Bob Duncan, the family’s father, was portrayed by Eric Allan Kramer. He ran a pest control business and frequently got into as much trouble as his children. Before landing this role, Kramer had already established himself as an actor. He had several notable functions before, including Thor in The Incredible Hulk Returns and Little John in Robin Hood: Men in Tights.
Ever since Good Luck Charlie ended, he has appeared as a supporting character in one or two episodes of numerous TV shows, including 9-1-1 and Fuller House. He has continued to act in films, but none of them have been nearly as well received as some of his earlier roles.
