The Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Release Date

We now know that Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will premiere on July 6, 2023. The show will be available on Crunchyroll in all areas, with new episodes launching every week following its Japanese broadcast.

Here is a tweet about the 3 days left on Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. You can see below:

We expect the show to air through the end of the year, which means the future season will most likely have at least 20 episodes if not more. The first season consisted of 24 episodes.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Trailer

As part of the Jump Festa event, the first Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 trailer was unveiled. Even without any actual film, the Japanese teaser, which features tiny snatches of some of the season’s important players, provides a tantalizing glimpse of what’s to come. View it above.

The Jujutsu Kaisen Twitter account has also revealed the first piece of season 2 key art. The image, which shows Gojo and Geto as students, can be seen below. Expect a trailer soon.

We’d recommend it, but because the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film is a prelude to the main series, it’s not required. The film focuses on swordsman Yuta Okkotsu, who will play a larger role in the Jujutsu Kaisen anime as the series progresses. He’s also one of the most popular characters in the manga series, so go see what all the commotion is about.

There is also a post-credits segment that foreshadows future events in the anime. It centers around Yuta returning to Japan and joining the main series, though it’s unclear whether he’ll appear in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2.

It’s also worth finding out in terms of completion – it fleshes out the world and the curse-heavy premise of the cosmos, all while telling a captivating story in its own right. If you’re tight on time, you can probably skip it, but we strongly advise you to do so.

Where can I see Jujutsu Kaisen before the second season?

Crunchyroll has made all 24 episodes of the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen available to watch right now for anyone who needs to get caught up on the show before the second season begins. Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen also watch on Crunchyroll. You can see the tweet below:

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Story

The first season of Jujutsu Kaisen concluded with the conclusion of the De@th Painting Arc, which ran from chapters 55 to 64 of the manga. It has officially been announced that the second season will begin with an adaptation of Gojo’s Past Arc, which spans chapters 65-79 of the manga.

That is based on Gojo’s background, notably a mission in which Gojo and Geto escorted a Star Plasma Vessel to Tengen. Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen will also adapt the Shibuya Incident (chapters 79-136).

Don’t worry, we’re not going into spoiler zone here, but the Shibuya Incident Arc revolves entirely around a scheme to seal away Goto, driven by Gojo and his new cursed alliance. That has been verified to last two whole courses, implying that the future season will last between 24-26 episodes.
