The Last Voyage Of The Demeter Plot
Most people are familiar with Dracula’s story, but what distinguishes The Last Voyage of the Demeter is that rather than telling the full history, the film focuses on a single chapter from the book, “The Captain’s Log,” concerning Dracula’s journey to London. Check out our in-depth discussion of The Last Voyage of the Demeter’s inspiration.
“The Last Voyage of the Demeter, based on a single chilling chapter from Bram Stoker’s classic novel Dracula, tells the terrifying story of the merchant ship Demeter, which was chartered to carry private cargo — 50 unmarked wooden crates — from Carpathia to London.”
“Strange events befall the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage, stalked by a merciless presence onboard the ship each night.” The Demeter reaches off the coast of England as a burnt, decaying wreck. The crew is nowhere to be found.” If you can read the latest article, then check out on our website Daily Real Time.
