Unless you caught the original 1980s TV series, you probably learned about IT via Andy Muschietti’s terrifying IT and its sequel, IT: Chapter 2. King’s monster masterpiece IT was turned into two films that concluded the plot. But evil lives on in a new hoɼɼor show based in Derry, since that’s the way of the world.

Welcome to Derry Release Date
The release date of Welcome to Derry is set for 2024. In a series of tweets marking the rebranding of their streaming service from HBO Max to simply “Max,” Warner Bros. confirmed this.

Welcome to Derry Plot
Welcome to Derry will serve as Pennywise’s genesis narrative and will take place before the Loser’s Club ever grew close. Maybe that part Muschietti removed from IT when we see the monster’s “really, really disturbing” origin will be shown to us at last. Spoiler alert: it involves eating kids.

Where Can I Watch Welcome to Derry?
