Joker’s unreliable narrator means De Niro’s Murray Franklin may have survived the live television shooting, but we doubt it. If Folie à Deux wishes to investigate Batman and Mr. J’s destructive connection, Douglas Hodge’s Alfred Pennyworth and Dante Pereira-youthful Olsen’s Bruce Wayne make sense.
The film will star Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey in unspecified roles. Joaquin Phoenix won’t “push” his son to be vegan.
